My story

Hi I am Isaac Ogonek. I started Mosaic Tropical Fish about 2 years ago in 2023 when I was 16 years old. I started selling on eBay as I already had a lot of experience with selling from when I used to sell Pokémon cards. I decided to build this website because I realized I could offer a better-quality service than what I was offering on eBay. I can also offer more affordable pricing for the same quality of fish because eBay fees take such a huge cut. 

A little bit of background of how I got into fishkeeping throughout my childhood. We always had a fish tank at some point, either for saltwater fish or a goldfish, but I didn't really get into the hobby until I had to take care of my sister's betta fish after she left for college. I enjoyed just learning about planted aquariums, so I decided to get a tank of my own with some male guppies and live plants and ever since then I just kept growing, getting more tanks until my dad and I decided to build a 10x14 greenhouse in our backyard, and that is what I use today to house and ship fish out all over the country. We have 10 55 Gallon barrels, 6 20-gallon tall aquariums, 12 10-gallon aquariums, 2 20-gallon long aquariums, and a few 5-gallon aquariums for betta fish breeding.
